Next up is The Merry Wives of Windsor, playing at the Royal Shakespeare Theatre, Stratford-upon-Avon, through the summer.
We're at the end of our run of The Lavender Hill Mob - it's been a joyful time which has taken the cast and crew up and down the country from Glasgow to Truro. Now I shall be hanging up my acting boots for a while and going back to the manuscript paper.
I was thrilled with the response to the concert version of our musical To the Streets! which performed at the B22 Festival in Birmingham this summer. The book is by playwright Roy Williams based on the extraordinary story of the Bristol Bus Boycott, commissioned by the amazing China Plate and produced by China Plate and Birmingham Hippodrome.
I'm very excited to have written the music for a short film - Reasons - funded by the BFI, and written and produced by Duncan Moore, with direction by Charlotte Peters.
Here's the theme tune!
I've now written songs for the last four series of BBC Radio 4's The Now Show, with the amazing Sooz Kempner as vocalist. You can hear our song from Hallowe'en 2020, a tribute to the genius of Danny Elfman, here.
